Match Report
Sunday 11 August –v- Southfleet at New Barn Road
Despite reaching the Ray Willis Final with a run of impressive showings, we had failed to produce the goods in our Sunday fixtures and looked for improvement from our recent mauling from Knights. Spud was engaged in parental responsibilities and was replaced by Sumo.
The script bore remarkable similarities to the previous match, when after steady spells from Daz and Old, we failed to hold catches and generally got tonked around the field. At the close Southfleet had cruised to 216-3, with Neil Clark claiming all the wickets that fell in his maiden spell for the club.
Excellent leadership from Moysey saw both opening bats back in the pavilion without a run registered. Duckie Schultz (making the Duck Trophy his own) and Graham (trying to prove his ton was no fluke) were soon joined by Sumo and Chuckles, who fell to their usual cavalier approach to batting. Fortunately the heavens opened and the game ended in a draw
Entertainment was provided at the Southfleet Clubhouse, where heavy investment in the raffle failed to produce any prizes.

Wilsdon -More fat balls to be spanked.
Daz -Led from the back - trying not to bat again so he can keep a ridiculously high average.
